In elementary AAP, it seems that almost all of the work is done at school. I suspect they are trying to see what the child can actually do rather than they overachieving helicopter parents. I have a 4th grade AAP student. I find it amazing who independent she has become there. I just check to make sure her work is done.[/quote]
