Norwood has a whole child approach and each class has a variety of learners and personalities. This is one of the best parts of the school. When it comes time for HS placement, 8th graders (and their families) are encouraged to find a school that is a match. The variety of schools that Norwood places its students each year is a direct result of walking the walk - focusing on the child. I do think 9th grade can be a hard transition as everyone finds their way, but I think by 8th grade, most everyone is excited to set out on their own adventure.[/quote]
