If you want to try, grow romaine type lettuce and plant with some shade and water a ton. But what will likely happen is that the lettuce or spinach will bolt (start shooting up in order to make seeds) before you get anything to eat. Bolting greens taste yucky and bitter. I’ve never grown Brussels sprouts but I think they take a long time. How about Swiss chard, kale, or collards? None of those love the heat, but they’ll do okay.[/quote]
