If you were truly interested, you'd stop the cluster fu** that's happening at the county right now.   They have three different task forces to implement what safety or wellness or possibly both will look like in schools now that SROs are gone.  Because every politician wants to be able to claim credit for student-centered reform.  Yesterday, one of them was discussing the decolonization of the curriculum.   How this relates to safety, I'm not sure.

Those are two separate issues, though.

1. Should the county government work as well in areas with less-affluent people as in areas with affluent people? Yes.
2. What should the county government do to achieve that goal?

Also, if I were making list of equity (or whatever you want to call it) issues in Montgomery County, SROs would not be at the top of the list. So I'm a bit surprised that of all those issues, SROs is the one you chose to mention.[/quote]
