Average runs 90-110. If he scored around 100, I would be shocked if he qualifies for AAP unless everything else considered (e.g. CoGAT and in class performance and work) strongly suggests the test results were an outlier. Even then I'd think it may end up as an appeal where you need to show additional work samples and explain the pandemic affected his NNAT. [b]Do you have reason to believe he's bored in class or not getting anything from the lessons because he already knew that material?[/b][/quote]

Nope. He's likely not a good candidate for AAP. I guess my real question is, how much should I care? Can he still get a good education in FCPS? In a middling pyramid?[/quote]

Yes, especially if you are an involved parent. Lots of kids who are in Gen Ed end up taking honors and AP/IB classes. [/quote]
