Any voting unit in the US that has elected a politician that does not meet your standards should lose its federal representation. Orange County California went bankrupt -- something DC has not done. Orange County should immediately lose federal voting rights. John Wayne Airport should be renamed Malcolm X Orange County Airport. Similarly, Jefferson County, Alabama has just filed for bankruptcy. The county is full of big Republican donors. It should immediately lose its federal representation. Committees in Congress can be formed to oversee its affairs. I think Representatives from Maine, Massachusetts, and Hawaii would be good members of that committee and will have great insight on how to run the county. [/quote]
