My son is turning 2 in a few weeks. I really want him to have a party since he didn't get to have a first birthday. It feels pretty reasonable to have an outdoor gathering for an hour or two. Most adults are or will be vaccinated. I just feel weird about it all still. Also, how the hell do I throw a birthday party. We haven't been to any because of covid so I feel like I'm flying blind.
one year olds and two year olds don't care about parties. The party is for the parents ( nothing wrong with it) but, kids don't care about parties until age 4. Personally, I would have the spring party and celebrate quietly with my son. Save your money for when the kid will really enjoy it!
I mean have a outside party but, don't make it a birthday party!
