Thank you![/quote] I think it would be a good idea to do your research and come up with a solid list of reaches, matches, likelies. Try to really hone in on a school that your child loves, where their scores are about average according to the data. Then, find out everything you can about this school and applying to this school-- read college confidential, find out if they care about demonstrated interest, etc. Work really hard on the application this summer. Have others read the essays. Talk to anyone who can give you insight about this school and what they are looking for. Being full pay is a really good thing almost everywhere. If DC can fall in love with a school, and get into the school in the Fall, it saves a lot of stress, heartache and aggravation. Hope that's helpful.[/quote]
