I have been a vocal supporter of teachers for the last year, but you really need to take a step back and get some perspective here. Teachers are entitled to take sick leave to get a vaccine just like everyone else. They’ve been eligible to get one for months. This special program with CVS was announced last week. None of us get special emails from our employers or the city notifying us when they’re moving to the next tier. You are being prioritized. Be grateful and schedule an appointment, many of us do not have the luxury to do so yet.[/quote]
