I've only had 1 bad experience with a nurse at CFA, everyone else has been wonderful. The 1 bad nurse seems to be specifically assigned to IVF, which is especially unfortunate! I emailed my doctor and explicitly told him I didn't want to work with her, which he had no issues with, but of course that's a bit hard for the Dr to actually control and she did still end up trying to manage some of my case by giving me follow up info and trying to get forms, etc. Every time I got an email from her I instead emailed my Doctor and other nurse directly and got all my information that way. The nurses have emails the same as the doctors, and they have always been really responsive to me. Also, you can literally just go in any day M-F between 7.30-9.30am if you need to. The front desk might give you a bit of attitude, but the doctors and nurses have never seemed to mind and sometimes things come up outside of hours and you just need to take control for yourself (obviously if you can book an appointment with your nurse in advance, that's better for everyone).
What's the name of the nurse you're working with now? I'm working with Wendy and it is hasn't been going well.
Ugh, yes, Wendy is that 1 nurse! She just seemed to lack empathy and also said my emails went to her spam. I never worked with Wendy in person though, so I just started emailing the nurse who works directly with my Dr in person and is there with him every time I have an in-person visit. She knows me and always responds to my emails. I sent her my forms too instead of Wendy. For any financial needs I emailed directly with Shaun, who was seriously so helpful. I think the front desk people try to help with financials questions but they're usually at a loss and it's quicker and more effective to just deal with any finances directly with Shaun and her team. You can always pay later on the phone after talking with someone with real information.
