We need to know more about your bf. 25 or 55? Interests or hobbies? Kids?
He’s early 40s. Interests are outdoors-y stuff, art, writing, food, music, reading, acquiring knowledge in general. Very artistic, great eye for design. Super intelligent. We do a lot of hiking and outdoors stuff, pre-COVID we’d do classes together. He has 2 older kids. I’ve asked him what I can do to strengthen our relationship and his reply was basically to tell him when I’m feeling depressed so he can help (I suffer from depression). He’s that kind of person, ha. Sex is already 💯. Both of us are highly satisfied, and he knows I’m down for anything. We live close to each other, so I’ve started doubling my cooking and dropping some off for him. I’m trying to plan more of our outings since he does most of that labor, and I’m saving up for a post-pandemic trip.
This is an interesting question. As a long time married guy, I’m trying to think of non-sexual things that a partner might do. Here’s what I came up with: - participate in his favorite activity with him. If he likes to ski, learn to ski. If he likes to scuba dive, learn that. If he’s a massive Steelers fan, find tickets and go with him. - Ask him questions about topics or hobbies he is interested in, and genuinely listen. People love it when others are genuinely interested in their favorite topics. Maybe it is sports, art, history, science, engineering, law, whatever. - Plan fun outings, but find activities that would appeal to a guy. Ask him before you book. I’m thinking a beer festival, whitewater rafting trip, camping, trip to a car show, etc.
