Seriously?!?! I’d feel like an idiot doing this. I thought this was only something in porn. Do real couples do this?

OP here, this was not me. I do dress up. You should try it, PP

I’d never be able to do it with a straight face. I’d just feel awkward. It would be like asking DH to wear a Speedo. He’d feel so out of sorts. Good for you to be able to pull it off.

He’s early 40s. Interests are outdoors-y stuff, art, writing, food, music, reading, acquiring knowledge in general. Very artistic, great eye for design. Super intelligent. We do a lot of hiking and outdoors stuff, pre-COVID we’d do classes together. He has 2 older kids.

I’ve asked him what I can do to strengthen our relationship and his reply was basically to tell him when I’m feeling depressed so he can help (I suffer from depression). He’s that kind of person, ha.

Sex is already 💯. Both of us are highly satisfied, and he knows I’m down for anything. We live close to each other, so I’ve started doubling my cooking and dropping some off for him. I’m trying to plan more of our outings since he does most of that labor, and I’m saving up for a post-pandemic trip.

This is an interesting question. As a long time married guy, I’m trying to think of non-sexual things that a partner might do. Here’s what I came up with:

- participate in his favorite activity with him. If he likes to ski, learn to ski. If he likes to scuba dive, learn that. If he’s a massive Steelers fan, find tickets and go with him.

- Ask him questions about topics or hobbies he is interested in, and genuinely listen. People love it when others are genuinely interested in their favorite topics. Maybe it is sports, art, history, science, engineering, law, whatever.

- Plan fun outings, but find activities that would appeal to a guy. Ask him before you book. I’m thinking a beer festival, whitewater rafting trip, camping, trip to a car show, etc.

OP here, thanks for the ideas I’ll start planning some outings for spring once it warms up - thanks again!

She pretty much does anything I want her to do with only a few, small hang-ups that don't matter at all. That said, she isn't up for adding another woman to the mix. That's OK, she is plenty exciting enough.

Take an actual interest in me as a person instead of fixating on what I provide, or what I can do for you.

You are on a site for moms and dads. Most married men with kids are sex starved so they will all say sex. Do you have kids? Perhaps give him premium alcohol or sports tickets when thing open up

To show you they care?

I have an amazing bf who is always doing nice things for me, and I’d love to do more for him. I know the obvious answer is sex, but we already do that multiple times a day, ha.

Any ideas? What would you like?
