[/quote] If it is a high-quality sofa it can be worthwhile to upholster -- e.g. if it would cost $4500+ new, reupholstery saves money and you can get exactly what you want. And you keep something out of the landfill. [/quote] Thanks, reason I ask is because I just bought a lovely Bassett sectional and a couch. Sales lady was pushing the quality and how it can be reupholstered when the time is right. But with these types of prices, it doesn’t seem like it’s worthwhile. Perhaps if I had something like a Stickley or something. [/quote]
