What is up with these entitled folks leaving their cars running in the street (looking at you Mary Cheh)! I think it is hilarious. We live in a city. Don't be stupid people.
Not even sure this makes sense. So because you live in a city, people are automatically dishonest and thieves? Kind of a fringe racist statement.
Not PP but I see it more as a density issue not a race issue. If you live in a rural area or suburb, you leave your car on in the driveway and no one will be walking around and see it. You leave it turned on with keys in the ignition in a high trafficked area? Higher chances of it being stolen! It is city living 101. Don't leave expensive items in your car, don't leave your car turned on.
+1 Another NP here. Grew up in DC and the only place I’ve ever seen people leave their keys in the ignition is the 500-person town in Nebraska where my MIL grew up. Even there I think it is nuts.
