Could be a wheel bearing or hub bearing. Is the noise constant? Or does it go away if you coast at the speeds you’d normally hear it at while accelerating?
You’re kidding, right?
WTH would I be kidding? What a dumbass question  There are some noises that are associated with things that make noises under load, which don’t make noises under load. For example: Exhaust leak noise is often only heard under acceleration, because of the increased flow of exhaust gasses out of the engine. You don’t hear it at idle because there’s not enough of leak to notice. You don’t hear it on deceleration or coasting for the same reason. Same for transmission noises, which often only make noises under load. There’s no torque load when you’re coasting, only when you’re accelerating. So failing thrust bearings aren’t going to make noise when there’s no load on them. Wheel bearings going bad have a resonance that typically most noticeable at certain speeds. Below and above that speed, the noise is either not noticeable or gets lost in other noises at higher speeds. There are all kinds of things that make noise under acceleration that get quiet when you lift your foot off the gas pedal. You have to spend some time listening to the noise, and understanding when/where it’s happening. That will help identify the noise. So no, I’m not joking.
