I am super duper cheap and want to do everything myself, but for something like that I would hire somebody. if you rent a ladder and have to pick it up and bring it back at the end you dont save that much and you risk to get really hurt. BTW, we had to replace out gutters last year and for a couple of hundred dollars we added gutter protection, some flat sheets with lots of tiny holes screwed on top of the gutter. even pouring rain goes into the gutter but not debris. best $200 spent ever, no more gutters to clean, you should get something like that if you had high gutters[/quote]
