What happens when the unlicensed and unbonded handyman you hire falls and breaks an arm and leg?

He’s going to have a lot of medical bills. And your homeowners policy has a lot more money than he does. And the ambulance chaser he hires will go after all of it.

They sell J-shaped devices for leaf blowers that allow you to blow your gutters out without a ladder. Think a super long extension.

hire somebody. I am super duper cheap and want to do everything myself, but for something like that I would hire somebody. if you rent a ladder and have to pick it up and bring it back at the end you dont save that much and you risk to get really hurt. BTW, we had to replace out gutters last year and for a couple of hundred dollars we added gutter protection, some flat sheets with lots of tiny holes screwed on top of the gutter. even pouring rain goes into the gutter but not debris. best $200 spent ever, no more gutters to clean, you should get something like that if you had high gutters

Around $75, it would take them 30 mins or less by hand for our smaller house.

They still have to come out. I think you are low but maybe. We have a hard time getting anyone to set foot on our property for less than a hundred.

We have one side of our house that needs to be cleaned out and it's on the second floor which would require a 30' ft ladder to get up there so I can do it myself. Otherwise I can get to the other gutters on the house with my 6 ft ladder. I'm thinking about renting a ladder but not sure how I would carry it since I don't have a truck. Last resort is to pay someone to do it.

Anyone know of any contractor in MOCO who could do it for a nominal fee?
