I feel like I'm losing my mind. I'm one of the people whose Knox was recalled so I just got the Rava. When I installed it right now it shakes to both sides quite a bit, way more than the 1" the manual or videos say. This is also the problem I had with the Knox! Is it me? I'm following the instructions to the letter and tried using both LATCH and the seatbelt. Has anyone had this issue?
I am having the exact same issue and I think it is because the seat is too narrow. If you look at the base, the curve of the seat does not allow the Rava to sit flat. That’s the only thing I can think of because that seat belt is TIGHT. It got a little better when I used the latches, but still makes me nervous. PS. It is not advised to use both latch and belt, they want you to use one or the other.
