Yeah well, now Frederick is at something like 75 cases per 100k, 9% positivity, and CDC predicts the more contagious British variant will become dominant in March. Not sure evidence from places that met the "old" metrics in the fall apply here.

As a parent I'm just livid to be put in the position of deciding whether to fail my kid, or risk our health and contributing to the pandemic at its height. Why NOW? Why couldn't he have had a few months of in person classes in the fall, so he wouldn't be hitting this wall with virtual now? [/quote]
