Today?  ECNL because it is an actual league that has structure, plays games, and has a track record.  Today MLS Next is still an idea.  To be fair, an idea with more specifics around it than when it started but still an idea.  If it gets up and running in a professional manner, all bets are off and I think there will be movement.  But that is not 2020-2021 and we will have to see if it is 2021-2022.

The better talent is in MLSNext. It is not even close. It is a league and is functioning well.  The non-MLS Academy clubs in MLS Next are comparable to the ECNL clubs. But the MLS academies are the differentiator. See earlier post. As we said, if you are not at the MLS academies or core MLS Next teams like Bethesda or Armour, this question doesn’t matter because the rest of the teams are comparable. [/quote]
