Op here. Personally, I love the fact that former swimmers return to swim with the club team. It continues friendships and bonds and gives the younger swimmers a lens into what college/swimming may be like. Unfortunately, this year presents a new consideration in the form of Covid.

I have not and will not ask the coach, as I have no desire or intent to impinge on or potentially impact any decision-making the coach may have regarding this. I'm fine with whatever the coach/coaches decide and would simply toggle our family's approach. I am positing this question to other swim parents (hopefully) that may have input or information that I do not have (or perhaps did not consider) and are kind enough to share. I believe this is one of the many benefits a community forum such as this affords us.
