Not true at this time. The decisions are being made by county leadership. In the case of this tournament, the decision was made by leaders in Anne Arundel and Howard Counties. [/quote]

Funny, I was saying that to  my husband last night. I could see evidence of that compromise in the stern messages from the tournament organizer about masking and other rules. It is a disaster for tournament organizers to cancel the whole thing, so I understand why they wanted to do as much as they could.

If people want to be mad at anyone, be mad at Maryland's leadership who prioritized putting positive spin on how the pandemic was being managed here rather than conveying complete factual information about Maryland' rising metrics throughout October. Perhaps it that would have happened, we wouldn't be in this situation now. [/quote]
