I disagree.  Being divorced TWICE by age 32 indicates that someone makes poor choices and perhaps lacks the maturity necessary to be a fixture in the lives of four children.  Yes, there could always extenuating circumstances, but most likely, the sister is a bad judge of character, jumps into things without thinking, and/or immature.  Or, she could have married perfectly nice guys who then found out she was batshit crazy and left.

I'm lucky that my sister is great.  My SIL on the other hand... also divorced twice by 32 because she married (a) a coke head who was constantly being sued by his ex-girlfriend for not paying child support and (b) a loser who couldn't keep a steady job to save his life.  How can you not see the red flags in both of these scenarios?  [/quote]
