I plan on getting the city mini. I will also have the snap and go for the car seat. I plan to take baby for walks early on -- is the snap and go not a good choice for longer walks. If not, can I use the city mini right away -- like PP said with the seat in full recline (PP - do you add blankets or anything for added snugness or anything)?
Happened to read this, and am the original PP you quoted who said they used it right away. I believe at first we used a Snuzzler that we had around from #1 (one of those fuzzy white things), though I'm pretty sure we didn't really need anything, and you could certainly use blankets to get the same effect. We also had a Snap 'N Go for #1 (didn't get the City Mini until #1 was 7 months) and that worked fine, though in retrospect I could tell it didn't push as well as a nicer stroller. But we were living in Adams Morgan and I pushed my winter baby all over DC in the Snap 'N Go. Though winter baby is key to that - the car seat can get HOT, which is why we didn't use it much with #2 who was a late spring baby.
