OP - my optimism was in vain. The lining didn’t thicken further with estrogen so they have canceled the cycle. SGF doctor says we will do the next cycle by trying to stimulate ovulation via letrozole to see if that leads to a better lining thickness. I am distraught and feel like a science project. Has anyone had this happen to them before? Would love some success stories.
ugh, OP. unfortunately doing IVF does indeed make you a science project. the thickest my lining ever got was during a medicated TI cycle with letrozole. unfortunately, that resulted in a chemical pregnancy. i did 3 embryo transfers. first was a medicated FET (cause fresh transfer canceled cause thin lining). oral and vaginal estrogen got me to 7 point something. failed. second was a fresh transfer at 7 point something. also failed. third attempt at FET got me some weird cysts in my uterus that got that cycle canceled. third FET cycle was natural cycle with trigger and lining was exactly 7. success.
