More likely because a little kid can handle wearing a mask for 2-3 hours with multiple snack breaks and outside time breaks better than they could for 8 hours. This doesn't have anything to do with teachers and much more to do than pleasing precious parents such as yourself.[/quote]

Also daycares typically serve a larger age range than preschools.  Our daycare wasn't going to require any masks until parents complained and now everyone over 2 has to- except when eating, napping, and playing outside.  So like half the day.  It's gotten our 4yo comfortable with a mask and so now it's NBD getting him to wear it for everything else, so I think the requirement is a good teaching tool.  I'm not sure it's really making a difference beyond that.[/quote]
