You're the reason daycare teachers get such little respect. Many are well-educated, highly trained and just as "better-off" as preschool teachers and deserve to be protected just as much as anybody else. Young kids have a hard time keeping a mask on all day and likely would trade masks with another child who they think has a "cooler" looking mask. It has nothing to do with the quality of daycare vs preschool. In addition, it's not recommended for children under 2 to wear masks, so there is your actual reason daycares are not requiring masks.
