Not helpful to you at all but our nanny stayed over for the two and a half days we were in the hospital. Nanny didn’t even want to be paid for the overnights or extra hours! And I was completely comfortable knowing DS was with her as DS loves her dearly. Not helpful to you, OP, I know and I apologize but this is for those debating the merits of a nanny vs daycare.
Same and equally unhelpful to OP. I delivered on Monday and our nanny moved in and stayed with my toddler for two solid days. I wasn’t worried about my little Guy one bit as I knew he was completely happy and comfortable with his nanny. My friend had her mom fly out and isolate in a hotel for five days, getting tested on the fifth day with results the next day. It’s not a 14 day isolation anymore.
