Not helpful to you, OP, I know and I apologize but this is for those debating the merits of a nanny vs daycare.
Same and equally unhelpful to OP. I delivered on Monday and our nanny moved in and stayed with my toddler for two solid days. I wasn’t worried about my little Guy one bit as I knew he was completely happy and comfortable with his nanny.
My friend had her mom fly out and isolate in a hotel for five days, getting tested on the fifth day with results the next day. It’s not a 14 day isolation anymore.

Maybe hire a newborn care specialist? I know it's expensive but just an idea. They are trained to be careful about Covid.

I think you should ask your relative but give her an out (“I totally understand if it’s too risky for you...”) To be honest if I were her I’d be fine with it at this point. Obviously everyone is different but I would at least try her. It’s a big deal situation, and people get that.

We reached out to a postpartum doula service which had sibling support. I would check on Doula Care of Md or Metropolitan Doulas. One may have postpartum doulas to be on call and come to your home.
