Some clubs provide guidance.  Some don't.  Your best guide is probably the previous treasurer, or a treasurer from a different team who might be willing to spend thirty minutes with you.

Oh and some clubs do a lot more of the budget tracking for you than others.  In some cases you are entirely on your own - in others you are just asked to check a monthly report of expenses.[/quote]
