[/quote] I'd second considering this. You could get an interim fix, start doing some research, and then see what deals are offered on Black Friday. It's only two months away. SE may work well for you, if you're happy with the 6 currently. I'm sort of like you, but went with the X when my 6 bricked itself. My feeling was that I wanted to just get the latest and greatest at the time, because I'm the type who buys and holds until whatever I have totally dies. So for me the X has worked well the last couple of years, and hopefully I'll have it and be happy with it for a few more. [/quote]
