The learning curve is 30 minutes. Maybe an hour if you're particularly dense.

Can you imagine that other people may be more comfortable with things that differ from your choices??? How in the world could that be??

The iphone SE is only $200 at Walmart if your carrier is AT&T or Verizon. This is for existing lines, not new service. I am not a Walmart shopper typically, but when my old SE bit the dust this summer this was the best deal on a new iphone I found. I've been very happy with it!

Umm, yeah. The iPhone 11 isn't the only other option. There many cheaper - even if you want to stick with Apple. It's like saying should I pay to repair my old car, which is just for basic transportation, or buy a Mercedes Benz.

I have a 6 too , and I wouldn’t put any money into it. Apple has stopped Operating System updates for it, so I’ve already had apps not update because of that. I plan on getting the SE pretty soon.

I'd second considering this. You could get an interim fix, start doing some research, and then see what deals are offered on Black Friday. It's only two months away. SE may work well for you, if you're happy with the 6 currently. I'm sort of like you, but went with the X when my 6 bricked itself. My feeling was that I wanted to just get the latest and greatest at the time, because I'm the type who buys and holds until whatever I have totally dies. So for me the X has worked well the last couple of years, and hopefully I'll have it and be happy with it for a few more.

I can tell you from experience that aftermarket screen does not work well as OEM screen at Apple store (slow response to touch command). I hated it, but if you can live with it, it's functional.

I'm not sure what to do. My 16gb iPhone 6 from 2015 has a completely cracked screen. DH has been telling me I should get a new phone for a while, but I hate getting products I can't use. My phone is a little slow at web browsing, but it gets the job done fine. My inclination is to fix the screen for $85 at a local shop. The new iPhone 11 would be about $760. Thoughts?
