Every super fancy house I see has like twice as many bathrooms as bedrooms. Understand the house overall is bigger but still - you'll see like 8 bedrooms and 16 baths.
Lots of ways you can end up with extra bathrooms. One full bath for every bedroom Two full baths for the master bedroom A full bath for a first floor room that might get turned into a bedroom in certain circumstances A full bath attached to a workout room or an indoor pool, or at an entrance by the outdoor pool. A full bath off the mudroom Multiple half baths for entertaining. Half baths for spaces that are far from others, like a basement playroom. Half baths in spaces where you might have people working. So, if you're having your super fancy party, there's a half bath by the kitchen and butler pantry where the caterers can use it. There's one off your private office etc . . . We actually live in a house that I don't consider a mansion, and have the same number of bathrooms as bedrooms and I wish we had one more.
