I don't remember fussing much about whether it was with food or not. It didn't seem to matter. He loathed the taste but it did work. They have it available in pill form to avoid the taste issue but mine is a kitten and his dose was so small that cutting the pill in half like I was supposed to was impossible. [/quote]
