I do think he has something going on. It's more than a bad sense of humor. He gives me lots of compliments that are actually insulting. He genuinely doesn't understand. +1  OP you should have texted back "that was rude and hurt my feelings" if this is an ongoing problem.  Don't stew in it and come to us for validation.  That text would not have hurt my feelings so I can't understand why you think your husband is broken, but it's your marriage and if you want it to work better for you you need to put in the work.[/quote]
