+1 OP you should have texted back "that was rude and hurt my feelings" if this is an ongoing problem. Don't stew in it and come to us for validation. That text would not have hurt my feelings so I can't understand why you think your husband is broken, but it's your marriage and if you want it to work better for you you need to put in the work.

I've been married for 10 year's. I have talked to him about it. He's still weird.

This post is weird.

Just a joke that didn't land. The joke was absurd not mean (he didn't say "oh no they're still all crooked!" or anything), so I don't see how you got to insulting from there, but maybe his default of joking instead of complimenting you is not a great personality fit.

I got my braces off today and I sent a picture to my husband. Most people would respond with beautiful or something like this. My husband responds by asking me where are my teeth? He claims I don't have any teeth in the picture. I'm seeing the picture and I do indeed have my teeth 😁 I guess he was trying to be funny. He does weird stuff like this a lot. I am expecting a compliment but he turns into something almost insulting. Anyone else have a spouse or friend like this? What sort of disorder is this?
