So Langley is a great school for K-8.  We have had some awesome teachers and some meh.  Thai is the same at Potomac.

What was good about Langley is it is focused on the younger grades and is very nurturing. Academics were good and parents were mostly friendly.  We made many good friends here.  The nice thing is there is lots of interaction with the 8th graders and younger kids through the Big Buddy Program.  Also the 7,8th graders feel like they are leaders at the school unlike Potomac here they know there is a HS right next door.

Langley was great at the younger grades but my daughter felt that by 8th grade she was ready for a “bigger” school.   But Langley was the right school for her. Would send her there again...

For my other daughter, she was more of stronger personality and wanted a “large” school feel from day one and lived the facilities at Potomac. Langley can not match the gyms and field space to Potomac.  So if you want them to stay till HS, Potomac will be a better choice.  Academics at both schools were similar.

We have some younger friends with a boy at Langley now and he just finished K and loved it...
