I was just looking at the CUPF website and it says "MCPS has given notice that their indoor facilities will not be available for community use until after September 15, 2020, because of their need to maintain control and use of their facilities so they can close out the school year and develop planning for the Fall educational programming." It also says they are refunding leases which I think has been the case this whole time - they're not charging for space that is closed. My provider has mentioned they lease the space through CUPF. Honestly MCPS, if you're making a decision that results in people losing their child care for 2-3 months, maybe give a better explanation, because this one sounds like total BS. wtf.[/quote]
