They need eyes on them every second. Drownings can happen in a minute or two and lifeguards, in my opinion, are not to be counted on when it comes to kids this age. She often mixes up dates in her mind raising kids and has unrealistic expectations like my just turned 4 year old couldn’t drown because he’s done swim lessons for a few years. Yes, he’s done swim lessons but he cannot swim 100 percent and needs to be supervised every minute. She’s kind of the type that would get out and grab her phone to take pics and leave them on the steps for a few minutes if that makes sense. [/quote]
