I’m too scared to send our almost 4 month old but for some reason kind of okay sending his older sister to the same place. I was hoping to send him once he’s 6 months and can at least take Motrin. Maybe irrational but I’m just so nervous.
Yes, because Motrin would only cover up symptoms. Daycare would not take a sick baby or a baby that has medicine to cover up symptoms.
Right but Motrin would treat the symptoms. Of course I wouldn't send him in sick but Motrin could make the difference between staying home with a fussy, suffering baby and or a perfectly content baby who just stays home to sleep.
Of course. I was just pointing out that you would not be allowed to send the baby in with symptoms anyway so the Motrin issue is not relevant in terms of daycare. Of course you want a content and happy birthday.
not the pp and I don't mean to be argumentative but I think what pp is saying is that putting baby in daycare puts the baby at a little more risk to catch it and she doesn't want to take that risk until the baby could take motrin if they got it. So ti really is relevant to the daycare question..
I’m the original PP and exactly! I meant to TREAT my baby’s symptoms, not to mask the illness. Would never do that and especially with something as serious as covid.
