Both new teams were generally in the top half across all age groups in SE conference of GDA, with NC Courage being the stronger of the two. Barring any major roster movements, I would expect they will both be very competitive in ECNL MA.

I don't have an any concrete info, but I don't expect ECNL to split the MA conference north/south this year per se. I think we will see an unbalanced schedule this year to ease travel/COVID issues, with VA teams playing each other more, and NC/SC teams doing the same. Once we get past this COVID business, I would expect the normal conference schedule to occur. Even with ECNL's additions to groups teams more regionally, the MA conference is still one of the most tightly grouped conferences geographically.
