So McLean, Loudoun, BRYC, VDA... players will dictate age group movement but all will get stronger but the best (serious) players move to ECNL.

After ECNL, larger clubs will benefit from this.  So it ain't so, but many ex-DA bubble players and bumped down ECNL players will prefer to play on top teams.  With USYS looking to replace what DA was, there's still a lure to these programs and looking plausible to bring some in.  So this is where Arlington, SYC, Alexandria, Herndon get a boost; I'm curious what becomes of FCV and MU.  FCV possibly moving to TSJ came at a bad time (not sure how you practice indoors when doors are closed, especially with social distancing indoors), and MU just in a rough location.

Who's likely to lose out on the most, well, probably smaller and/or failing clubs.  COVID-19 will push out a lot of players reducing how many players exist.  Without a large player pool, and with talent getting more centralized, smaller clubs lose out, but I also bet any club that was failing or getting smaller could go through this as well.  I'm not sure of the landscape anymore, but I recall Ellicott City having problems a couple years ago and having to move into lower leagues.  I would guess clubs like Great Falls Reston, Lee Mt Vernon, Leesburg could be impacted the most since player movement is generally always up, but more so because now many players may not be returning.  It could really be a set back.

So in general, ECNL and ex-DA fight for ECNL, removed ECNL and bubble ex-DA move to established non-ECNL clubs, and smaller/failing clubs get hit the hardest.[/quote]
