DA parent here - boy.

1.  No answer.
2.  No.  To be honest - why on earth would I?  On the boys side ECNL is nowehere near good enough and the MLS league will continue to play at a much higher level.  I think Richmond and VDA have made a mistake joining ECNL on the boys side, and I wonder if you might not even see them reverse course at some point.  Obviously I have no idea what commitments they have made and/or whether reversing course is even possible.  Perhaps it is not.  If they don't, then I suspect VDA will lose a handful of its best players to Arlington/DC United.
3.  On the boys side - perhaps a little bit.  Obviously VDA and Richmond are going to raise the level.
