[/quote] I’m not the pp or anti Catholic, but every single large family I know in my area is Catholic, and not idiots- all well educated and UMC. Anyway, to answer your question, OP, the biggest sacrifice I have noticed with these large families is lack of travel. They might all drive somewhere for a vacation, but never fly. Also, the families tend not to let each kid sign up for as many activities as most other kids in our area, because it’s not logistically feasible. We have friends with 5 kids, and they are financially very well off, but putting that many kids through private high schools and college is... a lot. Many families would have to make some hard choices when it comes to paying for education. [/quote]
