[/quote] Not getting into the dance thing, but I'd say any form of cardio where gravity is part of the resistance + repetitive knee joint movement can under certain conditions be bad for the knees. Yes, it's low impact where there not much shock to the knees, but depending on OP's knee condition, those exercises are not necessarily not bad. [/quote]
