I'll start.  Iguazu Falls on the border between Argentina and Brazil.  I was living abroad and asked for some ideas from local friends about stuff to do when my mom came to from the US to visit and narrowed the suggestions down to Iguazu.  I've heard people were disappointed by Niagara so I thought it would just be time for some catching up and bonding.  Not expecting to be soo impressed by the falls.  They were so beautiful.  We did both sides over 2 days and loved it!

Also, cruising!  I had some very negative pre-conceptions about cruising and people who cruise but my DH was asked to be the best man in a wedding on a cruise ship!  He said yes and then I felt obligated to go.  I actually had such a good time.  It was super kid friendly and there was so much to do.  It was also nice to not have to have so many food options traveling with picky kids.  It was really a relaxing vacation. [/quote]
