Where are there outdoor parks that small kids can run around outside during coronavirus, and avoid other children? Rock Creek Park is ok on weekends with roads closed. But during the week the trails are too tightly packed to bring small kids to. And most of the smaller parks in DC seem too crowded too. Trails at Cabin John? Are there other closed roads where kids can ride bikes or just take a walk and easily stay 6 feet from others?
Not sure about trails, but there was ample room in the fields at the Rock Creek Tennis Center last weekend. We were able to stay about 50 feet away from others the whole time - just making sure no one is getting into/out of the car next to you when you park in the lot. PP, going outside does not pose risk to others if you stay 6 feet away, and is absolutely crucial for the mental and physical health of kids, particularly those that live in small houses. Not all of us have yards.
