I saw this topic on another post. No I’m curious about the misread signals of a first date. Men, 1. On a first date if you say you enjoy spending time with her and mention how you would like to see her again, why would you not follow through with the aforementioned second date after saying all of those things to her? 2. Would you make an hour round trip to drop her off at home simply because you’re trying to be a gentleman? Not because you’re interested in her?
Like the others upthread, I wouldn't say these things if I didn't mean them. Anyone who does so and doesn't follow through is a jerk. I would offer on the ride home, but the Uber thing would depend on how well I knew her, because it would involve having to ask for her street address which is not cool if she's a virtual stranger.
I see, but would you give her a ride home simply because you’re a gentleman? Would you give a ride to someone you’re not interested in?
