And she did remove the pot from the heat as soon as she smelled burning. He was totally wrong. And since he dumped soup all over a presumably still hot stovetop, that soup likely burned and crusted onto the stovetop at least a bit--so his is he gets to smell more burning. If all you PPs have never had something stick to a pan or a burner, well, be glad you're so very perfect. Not all of us are. To OP: I think you already know that this is not about this one incident. You say it's just one example of an "everyday" interaction. If he's this swift to overreact and storm off and turn HIS overreaction back into you to say it's your fault--you and he need couples therapy or marriage counseling or whatever, stat. [/quote]
