I could just get another A6, but I'm also quite taken by the A7.  Is it worth going smaller - A4 or A5? Do I give up too much power or bells and whistles (relative to my A6)?

Not a fan of BMW and not sure if I really want to get a Mercedes either (just screams 'old man' - my bias perhaps).  I was interested in the Lexus 350 GS - until two things: (i) my wife said it's not sexy and (ii) the reviews just blast it for being so underwhelming (for the price).  Saw a Volvo the other day that caught my attention, but a Volvo?  How does a Cadillac CTS stack up?

So now I'm hopelessly stuck and could use some advice from the gurus here.  Also, I don't buy new cars - always 1-2 year old cars with less than 10k miles/year.
